About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales & Customer Support Specialist to support our growing energy business. This role combines inbound/outbound sales, customer service, and account support to ensure customers receive timely, accurate, and professional assistance. The ideal candidate is confident in English, highly organized, and comfortable using CRM and cloud-based tools.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm EST

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and CRM
  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team
  • Follow up with prospects to close opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and deals in Nutshell CRM

Customer Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries related to energy services, billing, and account updates
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Provide product and service information to customers
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention

CRM & Administration

  • Update customer records, notes, and deal statuses in Nutshell CRM
  • Use Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar) for daily operations
  • Track interactions, follow-ups, and customer history

Required Qualifications

  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Solid computer and internet proficiency
  • Experience in the Energy Industry (electricity, gas, solar, or utilities)
  • Experience using Google Workspace
  • Experience with Nutshell CRM or similar CRM platforms
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and reliable

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
