Our client is an established retail business that has beentrading for 10+ years and is currently undergoing a significant digitaltransformation. They are migrating from an outdated CMS platform (Craft) toShopify and require comprehensive support to ensure a smooth transition andongoing optimization of their e-commerce operations.
Overview of the Role
We are seeking an E-commerce Assistant/Coordinator to work closely with the E-commerce Manager to maintain day-to-day online store operations, manage the backend during the migration process, and ensure the site runs efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, technically proficient with Shopify, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Schedule
- Mon-Fri, Perth time; 20 hours per week (3days per week)

Responsibilities
- Assist with the migration of products from the old CMS to Shopify, including rebuilding product listings in the backend
- Upload and manage product content, ensuring all information is accurate and properly formatted
- Conduct database validation, product hygiene checks, and duplicate identification
- Optimize product listings with SEO meta descriptions and tags
- Manage click-and-collect functionality and related backend updates
- Pull and organize e-commerce reporting data into master metrics sheets
- Monitor website performance to identify and flag any technical issues or broken elements
- Ensure product information is flowing correctly through the platform during the migration
- Work with the E-commerce Manager and developers to action required changes and updates
- Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding stock management system updates and how they impact the Shopify site
- Assist with basic Klaviyo email marketing tasks and CRM-related activities
- Ensure the online store complies with operational standards and brand guidelines
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in an e-commerce coordinator, e-commerce assistant, or similar role
- Strong technical proficiency with Shopify (backend management, product uploads, site maintenance)
- Working knowledge of Klaviyo for email marketing and CRM
- Experience with e-commerce analytics and reporting
- Understanding of SEO best practices for product listings
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot website issues
- Comfortable working with inventory and stock management systems
- Experience managing content uploads and maintaining website hygiene
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with managers and developers
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Experience with website migrations is a plus
- Interest in or passion for lifestyle brands is desirable
