Job Overview
Our client is seeking a mid-to-senior HubSpot Solution Engineer to lead advanced configuration, integrations, and end-to-end optimization across Sales, Marketing, Service, and Operations Hubs. This fully remote, full-time role is ideal for a highly technical, strategic problem-solver who can translate go-to-market requirements into scalable HubSpot solutions.
You will own the entire lifecycle — discovery → solution design → build → launch → optimization — ensuring data integrity, automation efficiency, and long-term system scalability. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Leadership teams, while providing autonomy and ownership over platform architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities
1. HubSpot Architecture & Configuration
- Design, configure, and optimize HubSpot across Sales, Marketing, Service, and Ops Hubs.
- Implement custom properties, lifecycle stages, pipelines, and attribution models.
- Develop scalable reporting dashboards aligned with executive KPIs.
2. Advanced Automation & Workflow Design
- Build and maintain complex workflows (lead nurturing, scoring, routing, automation sequences, handoffs).
- Align automation systems with GTM and RevOps processes.
- Continuously optimize performance, conversion, and system efficiency.
3. Integrations & API Management
- Lead third-party system integrations using HubSpot APIs and iPaaS platforms
- Design reliable, bi-directional data sync architectures.
- Troubleshoot sync failures, field mapping issues, and performance bottlenecks.
4. Data Governance & Integrity
- Manage data migration, cleansing, deduplication, and validation processes.
- Establish governance standards for contacts, companies, deals, and tickets.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with best practices.
5. CMS & HubDB Development
- Build and maintain CMS templates, modules, and dynamic content using HubL.
- Configure HubDB for structured, scalable content delivery.
- Optimize website performance and personalization.
6. Documentation & Enablement
- Document configurations, processes, and architectural decisions.
- Provide internal enablement and best-practice training.
- Support iteration and continuous system improvement.
Requirements (Must-Have Qualifications)
- 3+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience (configuration, automation, integrations).
- Deep expertise in:
- HubSpot data model and object relationships
- Workflows & automation architecture
- CMS & HubDB
- HubSpot APIs
- Proven experience delivering full lifecycle implementations for complex environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Clear documentation skills and cross-functional communication ability.
- Experience working in remote, async-first environments.
Nice to Have
- HubSpot certifications (Admin, Developer, RevOps, etc.).
- Experience with:
- Custom-coded workflow actions
- HubL development
- JavaScript or Python (serverless functions)
- iPaaS tools (Zapier, Make, Workato).
- Experience in RevOps reporting and data architecture design.
- Familiarity with security, governance, GDPR, and consent management best practices.
- Experience scaling HubSpot for multi-brand or multi-region organizations.
