We are seeking a Lead Generation & Research Specialist to identify and connect brands with artists in the pop culture and music industry. This role combines strategic research with creative outreach, leveraging cultural knowledge to spot partnership opportunities. You will play a key role in building relationships that bridge contemporary hits and timeless classics, making the first connection between brands and the entertainment world.

Responsibilities

  • Research trade show exhibitor lists to identify potential brand partners
  • Compile comprehensive contact information, websites, and relevant business details for target brands
  • Create strategic priority lists of brands based on cultural synergy with represented artists
  • Conduct personalized initial outreach to potential brand partners with customized communications
  • Analyze brand positioning and cultural relevance to match with appropriate contemporary or legacy artists
  • Warm leads through thoughtful initial contact before passing qualified prospects to management
  • Utilize AI tools effectively for research efficiency while maintaining a personalized approach
  • Maintain organized databases and tracking systems for all research and outreach activities

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of contemporary pop culture, music industry trends, and Gen Z culture
  • Knowledge of legacy artists and nostalgia marketing concepts across multiple generations
  • Excellent research skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills for crafting personalized, non-templated outreach
  • Ability to analyze brand-artist synergy and make strategic recommendations
  • Experience with AI tools for research and productivity enhancement
  • Bonus: experience in entertainment, music, or brand partnership industries
  • Curiosity about both current trends and cultural history

Side Note
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
