Customer Service & Bookkeeping Coordinator (QuickBooks)

You’ll be the voice and organizational backbone of a thriving automotive repair business, directly supporting customer relationships and financial operations. This role puts you at the center of customer interactions, where you’ll help convert warm leads into satisfied customers while maintaining the financial health of the business. You’ll work closely with a small team of automotive experts who value efficiency and quality service, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact on business growth.

Client Overview

Growing automotive repair business serving established customers and warm leads throughout Texas. This small, dedicated team of automotive professionals values quality service and is expanding operations to handle increasing customer demand. The business focuses on building long-term customer relationships through excellent service and reliable repair work.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Central Time (Texas), with 1-hour unpaid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

  • Accept incoming customer calls and provide repair quotes using the company’s established pricing system
  • Conduct follow-up calls with warm leads and existing customers to confirm quotes and close business
  • Track all customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system
  • Handle bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and invoice processing
  • Manage customer database to ensure complete and up-to-date information
  • Process repair quotes and follow up on customer decisions to maximize conversion
  • Support general administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner and repair team on customer needs

Requirements

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping and financial management
  • Strong phone communication skills for professional customer interactions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and accurate data entry
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge, including reconciliation and invoicing processes
  • Bonus if you have experience in automotive, customer service, or small business environments
  • It helps if you’re comfortable learning new systems and adapting to business-specific processes

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
