Social Media Manager & SEO Specialist

Schedule: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM NSW Time (20 Hours)

Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule daily posts across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Develop engaging social media content with professional, visually appealing graphics and compelling captions
  • Respond to social media inquiries and engage with potential clients
  • Run paid advertising campaigns primarily on Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve Google search rankings for primary business keywords
  • Generate monthly performance reports covering social media and Google analytics
  • Create video content from posts when possible (bonus skill)
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve overall digital marketing performance
  • Take creative ownership of the social media strategy with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Mid-level experience with approximately 3+ years in social media management
  • Proven SEO experience with a demonstrated ability to improve search rankings
  • Portfolio showcasing previous work and industries served
  • Proficiency in Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Strong knowledge of Google SEO and search engine optimization techniques
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or approval required
  • Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and visual design
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools (open to other platform suggestions)
  • Experience managing paid social media advertising campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills for reporting and performance optimization

Scope:

  • Time allocation: 45% social media management, 45% SEO/Google optimization, 10% administrative tasks
  • Manage multiple social media platforms simultaneously
  • Focus on the Australian market, specifically within the work health and safety industry
  • Operate within the Australian time zone
  • Provide monthly reporting and performance analysis
  • Exercise creative autonomy with the ability to develop original content ideas
  • Long-term role with potential for growth as the business expands

Side Note:
This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on performance during the application process.
