FMCG/CPG Sales Assistant (Hubspot)

Job Description:

You’ll be the engine behind business growth, ensuring no sales opportunity slips through the cracks. This role puts you at the center of lead generation and client relationship management for a company that’s revolutionizing how brands connect with consumers. You’ll own the entire lead nurturing process while supporting a team that’s scaling rapidly across multiple markets.

Client Overview:

Join a dynamic product sampling company that connects leading consumer brands with customers across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. They’ve built the largest sampling network in Australia over 10 years, working with major FMCG and CPG brands to deliver innovative sampling campaigns through grocery stores, food delivery services, and unique partner locations.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM Torquay, VIC (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive lead lists targeting Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands, perfect for sampling campaigns
  • Execute systematic email outreach campaigns to generate qualified prospects
  • Manage multi-cycle follow-up sequences (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) to maximize conversion
  • Schedule high-value meetings between qualified prospects and senior sales team
  • Optimize lead tracking and management processes using HubSpot CRM
  • Maintain detailed records of all lead generation activities and client interactions
  • Write engaging LinkedIn posts and blog content about sampling industry expertise
  • Create simple visual content using Canva to support social media presence
  • Ensure existing client relationships stay warm through regular touchpoints

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in lead generation, sales support, or similar B2B role
  • Strong proficiency with HubSpot CRM or similar sales management platforms
  • Excellent written communication skills for professional email outreach
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple follow-up cycles systematically
  • Basic content creation skills using tools like Canva
  • Experience using LinkedIn for business development purposes
  • Self-motivated and thrives in remote work environments
  • Bonus if you have FMCG/CPG industry knowledge
  • It helps if you understand B2B sales processes and lead nurturing best practices
