Role Name: Bookkeeper with Budgeting Support
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern with a 30-minute paid break

Job Description: You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and creating budgets that help small business owners make informed decisions about their operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with multiple clients, gaining exposure to diverse business scenarios while developing expertise in both traditional bookkeeping and strategic budgeting. Your work will directly impact the financial health and success of independent contractors who rely on accurate, timely financial information to grow their businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day expense categorizations in QuickBooks for multiple contractor clients
- Create and manage budgets for FedEx contractor businesses
- Take profit and loss statements and input data into proprietary budgeting system
- Maintain separate, accurate books for each contractor client
- Handle comprehensive bookkeeping tasks within QuickBooks environment
- Work with proprietary tools specific to transportation contractor operations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple client accounts
- Support budget analysis and financial planning for small business growth
Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software for bookkeeping operations
- Experience with expense categorization and bookkeeping fundamentals
- Ability to create and manage budgets effectively
- Familiarity with profit and loss statement analysis
- Strong attention to detail for managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Bonus if you have experience working with small business or contractor financial records
