Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end production of high-performing Instagram Reels. This includes reviewing raw resort footage, selecting high-engagement clips, and editing into aesthetic, 9:16 vertical masterpieces.
  • Apply deep knowledge of the Instagram algorithm to every edit, ensuring strong hooks, perfect pacing, and correctly styled on-screen captions to maximize retention.
  • Identify and vet influencers specifically for their "Reel-style" aesthetic. Manage the full lifecycle: from initial outreach and contracts to booking coordination and tracking deliverables.
  • Develop and execute strategic content plans. Schedule Reels and posts across platforms, ensuring all content aligns with broader marketing campaigns and resort branding.
  • Actively manage community interactions by responding to comments and messages, maintaining the brand’s "voice" to drive engagement.
  • Support the Director of Business Development with email marketing, paid ad assets, and essential coordination tasks (file management, research) to keep the content engine running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation especially with Instagram reels
  • Video editing skills with ability to create engaging reels from raw footage
  • Understanding of social media trends and audience targeting strategies
  • Strong communication skills for influencer coordination and community management
  • Experience with Instagram and other major social platforms
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic administrative and organizational skills

Scope

  • Part-time position requiring 20 hours per week minimum
  • Initially supporting marketing for one resort location with plans to scale to 2-4 additional locations
  • Remote work arrangement with flexible scheduling
  • Opportunity for role expansion as company grows to 20-30 locations
  • Mix of creative content work (60-70%) and administrative coordination (30-40%)
  • Direct collaboration with Director of Business Development and resort partners

This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
