Accounts Receivable Specialist – NetSuite

Schedule:

  • 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (US Pacific Time)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with strong bookkeeping and Accounts Receivable experience, including mandatory NetSuite expertise. This remote role supports financial operations while maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and experienced in managing AR processes independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable & Bookkeeping Support
    • Create and issue invoices within NetSuite
    • Process payment receipts and allocate payments accurately
    • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
    • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts
    • Assist with reporting and financial data preparation
    • Support month-end and ad hoc finance tasks
  • Customer Communication & Coordination
    • Respond to billing and payment enquiries promptly and professionally
    • Liaise with customers regarding outstanding payments
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
    • Maintain professional written communication across email and CRM systems

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and Accounts Receivable
  • Mandatory: Hands-on experience using NetSuite
  • Previous experience working remotely as a VA or in a similar capacity
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Close attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
