We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing home services company specializing in generator installation and electrical services.

Working closely with an experienced controller, you will take ownership of critical accounting functions while contributing to strategic financial analysis that supports continued expansion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QuickBooks Online operations for comprehensive financial management and reporting
• Execute detailed data entry, journal entries, and maintain accurate accounting records
• Develop Excel-based financial analysis and job cost allocation systems for profitability tracking
• Support strategic financial reporting and analysis to drive business decision-making
• Collaborate with the controller on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
• Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational efficiency
• Contribute to process improvements and system optimization as the company scales

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with progressive responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online with comprehensive accounting system experience
• Strong Excel skills for financial analysis, reporting, and data management
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices
• Experience with job costing and profitability analysis strongly preferred
• References from your last two employers required
• Excellent English communication skills

Bonus / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in home services, construction, or project-based accounting
• Background in acquisition environments or high-growth companies
