Digital Marketing Specialist
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 1 pm Eastern Time, flexible on remaining hours (40 paid hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Write and execute email marketing campaigns including drip sequences and multi-touch campaigns
- Coordinate with the engineering team to set up email automations in Salesforce
- Monitor email campaign metrics and attribution to measure effectiveness
- Manage organic and paid social strategy, including the setup and optimization of FB/IG ad campaigns.
- Analyze digital marketing performance data to provide actionable insights and strategy adjustments.
- Manage social media content calendar and workflow in Notion
- Post in private Facebook groups using (owner's personal account) to generate handyman service recommendations, awareness, and community engagement.
- Create graphics and visual content using Canva
- Segment customer database into prospects, customers, and past customers
- Get campaign approval from the CEO before execution
- Track and report on social media engagement and performance
Requirements:
- Proven familiarity with social media policies and community standards across Meta (Instagram and Facebook) X (Twitter), TikTok, and LinkedIn. Deep understanding of digital etiquette and platform norms, ensuring brand interactions are professional and context-appropriate.
- Foundational understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization) is highly preferred.
- At least three years of Digital Marketing experience
- Proven experience with email marketing and drip sequence campaigns
- Familiarity with Salesforce (basic level sufficient)
- Social media management experience, particularly Facebook and Instagram
- Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and content creation (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
- Experience with Notion or similar workflow management tools
- Strong written communication skills for email and social content
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be organized and willing to help build a process for our marketing machine

- Certainly, there is focus on execution, but the candidate should be able to help set up a strategy around basic brand consistency for posts, social media strategies with campaigns
