Job Description: You’ll be the organizational backbone of a thriving healthcare practice, ensuring smooth operations across multiple clinic locations. This role puts you at the center of patient care coordination, where your medical administrative expertise directly impacts patient experiences and clinic efficiency. You’ll work remotely in a fully HIPAA-compliant environment, taking ownership of critical functions that keep the practice running seamlessly. Responsibilities:
- Schedule patients and manage appointment calendars across multiple clinic locations
- Handle medical billing functions and insurance-related processes for clinic services
- Serve as primary receptionist, answering calls and communicating with patients professionally
- Reach out to clients for appointment confirmations, follow-ups, and scheduling coordination
- Ensure all administrative processes remain compliant with healthcare regulations and HIPAA standards
- Manage clinic-branded email communications with patients and healthcare stakeholders
- Support healthcare providers with day-to-day operational needs across outpatient and wellness clinics
- Handle insurance credentialing processes and communications with insurance providers
- Maintain organized systems for patient records and administrative documentation
- Provide general administrative support to keep office operations efficient and compliant
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with US healthcare clinics or medical practices
- Strong background in medical billing and insurance processes
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and HIPAA regulations
- Experience with medical scheduling and billing software systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet
- Strong attention to detail for patient scheduling and compliance matters
- Bonus if you have experience with insurance credentialing processes
