Job Description:

You’ll play a crucial role in bringing construction marketing content to life, transforming raw footage into polished social media advertisements that capture attention and drive engagement. Working directly with the business owner, you’ll receive creative briefs and raw footage, then use your expertise to edit videos that maintain consistency with established brand guidelines. This is an opportunity to showcase your editing skills on diverse construction-focused content while working with a client who prioritizes quality and understands the value of professional video editing.

 

Responsibilities:

• Edit social media advertisements and marketing content for construction industry clients
• Transform raw footage and creative briefs into polished, engaging final videos
• Maintain consistency with established editing styles and brand guidelines across multiple clients
• Collaborate directly with the business owner to ensure edited content meets vision and requirements
• Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Adapt editing approach based on specific client briefs and project requirements
• Deliver high-quality content that drives engagement for construction company social media campaigns
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professional communication

 

Requirements:

• Senior-level proficiency in video editing with a strong portfolio of professional work
• Expert knowledge of DaVinci Resolve (preferred) or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proven experience editing social media content and marketing videos
• Ability to work independently and follow creative briefs effectively
• Strong understanding of social media video formats and best practices
• Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
• Bonus if you have experience with construction or industrial content
• It helps if you’re familiar with Australian business hours and communication styles
