Responsibilities

  • Manage Shopify backend operations including product uploads, updates, and catalog optimization
  • Update and optimize product descriptions and pages for clarity and conversion
  • Schedule and implement promotional campaigns, price changes, and discount codes
  • Handle customer service inquiries via email and Shopify tickets with empathy and professionalism
  • Support order management and logistics coordination for 2,500+ monthly orders
  • Respond to product-related questions across multiple channels
  • Work with Shopify plugins and e-commerce tools to improve platform performance
  • Collaborate on seasonal promotions and campaign execution

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with Shopify backend management
  • Strong written English communication skills and customer service experience
  • Experience managing product catalogs and promotional campaigns in e-commerce
  • Familiarity with Shopify plugins, discount systems, and order workflows
  • Experience using customer service platforms (Freshdesk and Gorgias preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Bonus: Experience in health, wellness, or women’s products
  • Basic logistics coordination knowledge is an advantage

Side Note

Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
