Marketing & Administrative Assistant

Our client is seeking a highly reliable and proactive Marketing & Administrative Assistant to support ongoing business growth. This role combines hands-on digital marketing execution with essential administrative support.

The ideal candidate is marketing-focused, detail-oriented, organized, and confident, working independently while remaining open to feedback and direction.

Schedule: Flexible during client business hours - EST (10-19 working hours per week)

Responsibilities

Marketing Responsibilities (Primary Focus)

The majority of this role will focus on marketing execution, including:

  • Create and edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
  • Write engaging Instagram captions aligned with the brand voice
  • Manage Instagram posting schedules and engagement
  • Set up and integrate ManyChat for marketing automation
  • Provide YouTube support, including:
    • Video uploads
    • Basic editing
    • SEO optimization (titles, descriptions, tags)
  • Manage and optimize Pinterest content
  • Write blog content following SEO best practices
  • Support SEO initiatives, including keyword usage and content optimization
  • Manage ActiveCampaign, including:
    • Email campaign setup
    • Automation workflows
    • A/B testing and performance optimization

Administrative Responsibilities (Secondary Focus)

  • Manage and organize email inboxes
  • Coordinate schedules and calendars
  • Create marketing and administrative materials using Canva
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and administrative support
  • Strong skills in:
    • Instagram marketing
    • Short-form video editing
    • Email marketing platforms (ActiveCampaign preferred)
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles
  • Experience with ManyChat, YouTube, and Pinterest (or ability to learn quickly)
  • High level of initiative, reliability, and accountability
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions while thinking proactively
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and making adjustments quickly
  • Excellent time management, consistency, and communication
