Overview
We are looking for a mid-level Full-Stack Web Developer to support and build web applications, AI-oriented tools, and internal business systems. You will work directly with the business owner on real projects, including traditional web development, CRM/ERP support, and AI-powered applications such as chatbots and automation tools. This is a remote, part-time role starting at 20+ hours per week, with the potential to scale to full-time as projects grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve full-stack web applications (front-end and back-end).
• Build and support AI-oriented applications, including chatbot and automation systems.
• Maintain and extend existing CRM and ERP systems.
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, including:
  • Custom themes and plugin development
  • Performance optimization, caching, and database optimization
  • WP-CLI usage and server-side improvements
• Collaborate directly with the business owner on requirements, implementation, and priorities.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.
• Contribute to internal tools and innovative AI-driven solutions.
• Perform quality testing, provide feedback, and help ensure stable releases.
• Produce clear technical documentation and implementation notes.
• Assist with basic on-page and technical SEO when needed.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional full-stack development experience (mid-level).
• Strong experience with:
  • PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS (SASS)
  • WordPress (custom themes, plugins, WP-CLI, performance and database optimization)
• Experience working with both front-end and back-end systems.
• Familiarity with modern front-end stacks such as React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, and SASS.
• Comfortable working with the command line, SSH, and Linux servers.
• Experience using Git (GitHub and/or GitLab).
• Experience or strong interest in AI applications and chatbot development.
• Familiarity with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs (or similar AI services).
• Working knowledge of tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
• Knowledge of Python is a strong plus.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet agreed timelines.
• Strong research skills and ability to produce precise and useful documentation.
• Curious, motivated, and willing to learn new tools and technologies.
