About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst / BI Developer to support our systems and reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, data modeling, and visualization, with specific experience working with SimPro data. You will play a key role in building reliable data models, ensuring data governance, and creating insightful Power BI reports.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
  
  
• Build and optimize reliable data models, with a solid understanding of STAR Schema design principles.
  
  
• Create, document, and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
  
  
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, including complex measures using DAX.
  
  
• Interpret and follow wireframes and design specifications to deliver required reporting solutions.
  
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
  
• Work specifically with SimPro data to support system integration and reporting needs.
  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven ETL experience with strong ability to manipulate and transform data.
  
  
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience building data models, especially using the STAR Schema methodology.
  
  
• Experience documenting and maintaining data governance frameworks.
  
  
• Advanced skills in Power BI, including creating DAX measures and complex visualizations.
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to work with SimPro data and understand its structure.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow wireframes accurately.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  
• Experienced in working remotely or catering to international clients
