Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Categorize and organize two years of banking transactions imported into QuickBooks
- Input and properly account for all business receipts and expenses in QuickBooks
- Process and record contractor payroll entries spanning two years
- Set up the QuickBooks system, including the chart of accounts and proper configuration
- Prepare comprehensive financial records to enable tax filing and resolve compliance backlog
- Provide ongoing monthly bookkeeping services after the cleanup project completion
- Guide business owners through proper bookkeeping processes and best practices
- Communicate regularly with the management team during business hours for questions and updates
Requirements:
- Previous professional bookkeeping experience with multiple clients
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory requirement)
- Experience working with remote clients across different industries
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to business owners
- Strong understanding of tax preparation requirements and compliance standards
- Excellent organizational skills for managing large-scale data cleanup projects
- Bonus if you have experience with contractor payroll processing
- It helps if you’ve worked with service-based businesses or similar industries
