Performance Marketing Specialist

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will serve as a Search Marketing Specialist, responsible for driving measurable growth in organic and paid traffic across multiple client accounts and internal marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for an experienced digital marketing professional who is analytical, proactive, and performance-driven.

The specialist will lead advanced SEO strategy development, manage Google Ads campaigns across industries, and stay continuously up to date on AI-driven search trends. The role requires someone comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong performance metrics and delivering clear, actionable strategic recommendations.

Schedule: Flexible schedule between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm,  Australian Eastern Time  (20 work hours per week) (with potential to scale to full-time as the business grows)

Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, including On-Page, Off-Page, GEO, and AEO optimization
  • Perform SEO audits using SEMrush and convert findings into actionable optimization plans
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization
  • Implement technical SEO improvements, including site structure, metadata, schema markup, and internal linking strategies
  • Monitor SEO performance metrics and provide ongoing optimization recommendations
  • Stay updated with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and AI-driven search developments

Paid Advertising & Campaign Management

  • Plan, build, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across multiple service-based industries
  • Conduct audience targeting, keyword strategy development, and conversion tracking optimization
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase ROI and lead quality
  • Test ad creatives, bidding strategies, and funnel optimizations to improve conversion rates
  • Provide clear performance reporting and actionable insights

Website & Technical Optimization

  • Implement SEO improvements within WordPress and Elementor environments
  • Optimize landing pages and website structures to support lead generation performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between websites, SEO, and paid campaigns
  • Ensure technical configurations follow SEO and UX best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of professional SEO experience managing multiple projects
  • Expert knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page, GEO, and AEO SEO methodologies
  • Strong hands-on experience with SEMrush, including live SEO audits and optimization roadmaps
  • Proven Google Ads campaign management experience across multiple industries
  • Experience working with WordPress and Elementor for SEO implementation
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
  • Up-to-date knowledge of evolving SEO landscape and AI-driven search changes
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns while maintaining performance accountability
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a performance-driven environment

  • This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
