The team values efficiency and is transitioning from local to virtual assistants to scale administrative support. You’ll play a dual-role position combining construction expertise with administrative support to assist a growing construction business. This role offers a balance of technical estimating work and day-to-day business support, working directly with the company director in a collaborative environment. Your work will directly impact project planning, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate construction takeoffs using specialized takeoff software from architectural plans
• Support project estimation and bidding processes with detailed quantity calculations
• Prepare and organize project documentation and construction files
• Handle general administrative tasks and paperwork as guided by leadership
• Maintain structured record-keeping and documentation systems
• Process and prepare business forms, reports, and internal documents
• Communicate directly with the director regarding project priorities and updates
• Support the company’s transition from local to virtual administrative operations

 

Requirements

• Experience using Adobe software for document handling and processing
• Construction industry background with takeoff and estimation experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail for precise calculations and documentation
• Willingness to learn company-specific workflows and procedures
• Reliable internet connection and fully equipped remote workstation
• Bonus if you have experience with construction takeoff software
• Experience in tiling, waterproofing, or related construction trades is an advantage
