B2B Appointment Setter

Schedule:

Markets: Australia, New Zealand, with potential expansion to the US

 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Appointment Setter & Lead Generation Specialist to support our clieny's B2B outbound sales efforts. This role is critical to their growth strategy and focuses on high-quality appointment setting, not high-volume or low-value calling.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of B2B appointment setting experience, can plan and manage their own day effectively, and consistently delivers strong results through efficient, professional outbound engagement. You will work remotely, integrate with our existing automated systems and outsourced operations model, and play a key role in expanding our telemarketing reach beyond Australia into new markets, including the US.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound B2B appointment setting calls to prospective clients
  • Research and identify key decision-makers within target businesses
  • Cleanse, update, and maintain prospect databases to ensure high data accuracy
  • Send personalised follow-up emails as part of structured lead nurturing campaigns
  • Create and distribute Electronic Direct Mail (EDM) campaigns
  • Qualify leads and progress them through to booked appointments
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in OnePage CRM
  • Achieve consistent outbound productivity, targeting 30–40 calls per hour (minimum 20 calls per hour) while maintaining call quality
  • Participate in performance-based incentive programs tied to appointment quality and conversion rates
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads

 

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven B2B appointment setting or outbound sales experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral accent preferred
  • Strong confidence handling objections, rebuttals, and gatekeepers
  • Ability to plan, structure, and manage your own workday with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to meet call rate expectations while maintaining quality conversations
  • Experience using CRM systems (OnePage CRM highly regarded)
  • Familiarity with Voice over IP systems (Skype, OnePage, or similar platforms)
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail in database management
  • Professional phone manner suitable for senior B2B decision-makers
  • Comfortable working remotely with a high level of accountability
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones, including potential US market hours, as telemarketing is a key driver of international growth

 

Scope & Work Arrangement

  • B2B outbound sales targeting Australian and New Zealand markets, with future expansion into the US
