Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST), including a 1-hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

• Make outbound cold calls to lawn and garden centers across target regions
• Schedule visits for field sales representatives using a consultative, soft-approach strategy (“our rep will be in the area next week”)
• Qualify prospects and collect key contact information, including decision-maker names and email addresses
• Send follow-up emails to confirm scheduled visits and provide additional touchpoints
• Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities and appointment outcomes
• Adapt outreach strategies based on seasonal trends, recognizing that winter months may have different response patterns
• Focus on relationship building rather than hard selling during initial contact

 

Requirements

• Strong English communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence
• Experience in appointment setting or outbound calling is preferred
• Ability to handle rejection while maintaining persistence and professionalism
• Understanding of B2B sales processes and agricultural or farming business environments
• Comfortable using CRM systems and managing email follow-up workflows
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional work environment
