Work Schedule:
- Tuesdays to Fridays, 12:00 to 8:00 pm
- Saturdays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- With 30-minute paid breaks per shift
- Client time zone: US Eastern Time (New York)

Job Description:
You’ll be the vital link between customers and this electrical services team, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency. This role offers the perfect blend of customer interaction and behind-the-scenes coordination, where you’ll directly impact customer satisfaction while supporting critical business operations. You’ll work closely with the existing office manager and have the opportunity to learn about the electrical services industry while developing valuable customer service and project coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
- Handle overflow calls during busy periods to ensure every customer inquiry is addressed promptly
- Provide after-hours live call coverage to extend customer service availability
- Take customer calls and efficiently book appointments using company scheduling systems
- Complete administrative paperwork for electrical projects and service calls
- Pull permits required for electrical work projects and ensure compliance
- Generate and manage work orders for ongoing and upcoming electrical projects
- Master the Housecall Pro CRM system for comprehensive customer and project management
- Conduct follow-up communications with customers regarding appointments and project status
- Coordinate seamlessly with the in-person office manager and field team
- Support overall office operations to maintain smooth business flow
Requirements:
- Strong experience handling high-volume calls while effectively multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills for professional customer interactions
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems, particularly CRM platforms
- Administrative and organizational skills for managing documentation and workflows
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including after-hours customer coverage
- Attention to detail when handling permits, work orders, and customer information
- Bonus if you have customer service experience in service-based industries
