Job Description:

You’ll be instrumental in transforming an established web-based video platform into powerful mobile applications that reach audiences worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful technology that combines the best features of major social platforms while serving specialized communities. You’ll collaborate directly with an experienced development team and contribute to a platform designed to make a real impact on global education and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Convert the existing web platform into native iOS and Android mobile applications
• Mirror all current website functionality, including video delivery, playlists, community features, and advertising capabilities
• Collaborate directly with an established 3-person Filipino web development team for seamless integration
• Implement efficient data delivery systems from the centralized content hub to mobile interfaces
• Optimize mobile user experience for video content consumption across diverse community niches
• Support ongoing app updates, feature enhancements, and platform improvements
• Participate in the exploration of new mobile features as the platform evolves
• Ensure smooth app store deployment processes for both iOS and Android platforms

Requirements:

• Proven experience developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms
• Strong background in video content delivery and streaming platform development
• Experience working with existing web platforms and replicating functionality in mobile format
• Excellent communication skills for direct collaboration with international development teams
• Ability to work with centralized data systems and API integration
• Understanding of app store submission and approval processes
• Bonus if you have experience with community-based platforms or educational technology
• It helps if you’re familiar with content management systems and user-generated content platforms
