WordPress Developer Administrator

Schedule: Flexible during client business hours

Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Administrator / Developer to maintain, manage, and enhance their WordPress websites while supporting the development of new web applications. This role is ideal for someone with strong WordPress expertise who is comfortable working independently and excited about leveraging AI-assisted and low/no-code tools to build modern digital products.

You’ll play a key role in supporting and expanding a growing portfolio of websites and web applications, with a strong focus on performance, usability, and continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage WordPress websites, including updates, plugin management, backups, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization

  • Build and refine webpages using Elementor as the primary design and layout tool, ensuring responsiveness, usability, and brand consistency

  • Assist in the development and prototyping of new web applications using tools such as Replit, Lovable, and Bolt

  • Collaborate with team members to create new landing pages, digital features, and UX improvements

  • Conduct testing, QA, and performance monitoring to ensure reliable, high-quality websites

  • Manage time and workload effectively to consistently deliver high-quality results

  • Stay current with evolving web technologies, AI-assisted tools, and WordPress best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement

 

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience building, editing, and managing WordPress websites

  • Demonstrated expertise using Elementor for layout, design, and responsive development

  • Solid technical understanding of WordPress internals, including themes, plugins, performance optimization, security, and scalable site architecture

  • Hands-on experience with modern low/no-code or AI-assisted tools (e.g., Replit, Lovable, Bolt), or a strong willingness to learn

  • Working knowledge of web best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, and basic SEO

  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies

 

Nice-to-Have

  • Basic CSS or front-end skills for minor styling and layout adjustments

  • Experience with databases and CMS-related data handling (e.g., basic querying, data structures, Supabase, or similar tools)

  • Familiarity with HubSpot (CRM, forms, workflows, landing pages)

  • Experience using workflow and automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or HubSpot workflows

  • Exposure to additional website builders, digital content platforms, or headless CMS tools
