Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter/SDR Hybrid)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm | Michigan Time

As the business scales its nationwide network, they are looking for a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume partner expansion. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on company growth while building meaningful professional relationships.

Responsibilities:
Outbound Prospecting (The SDR Side):

  • Targeting: Identify "ideal candidate profiles" using LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, Apollo, or niche job boards.
  • Cold Outreach: Execute high-volume cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging sequences to generate interest.
  • Pitching: Effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, mission, and "why us" to passive talent.
  • Funnel Management: Maintain a rigorous follow-up schedule to convert "maybe" candidates into scheduled interviews.

Talent Qualification (The Recruiter Side):

  • Screening: Conduct initial phone screens to assess technical skills, cultural add, and compensation alignment.
  • Candidate Experience: Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring a seamless and "high-touch" experience from first touch to offer.
  • Pipeline Reporting: Track conversion rates and report on pipeline health to hiring managers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Department Heads to refine personas based on feedback from the "market."

Requirements:

  • High tolerance for rejection and the "grit" to keep dialing.
  • Ability to handle objections.
  • Proficiency with ATS (Lever, Greenhouse) and CRM/SDR tools (Salesloft, Outreach).
  • Exceptional copywriting skills for personalized outreach that stands out in a crowded inbox.
  • Ability to manage time between heavy sourcing blocks and active interviewing.
