Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive reconciliation and accurate recording of all financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes with precision and efficiency
• Provide enhanced visibility and strategic insights into company financial position and performance
• Proactively forecast financial trends and identify potential opportunities or challenges
• Take initiative in recommending improvements to financial processes and reporting
• Work independently while seamlessly integrating with organizational requirements and existing team processes
• Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting that supports executive decision-making

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Australian accounting guidelines, protocols, and regulatory requirements (non-negotiable)
• QuickBooks certification or equivalent professional bookkeeping software proficiency
• Proven track record in bookkeeping with minimal supervision or training requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work with initiative, foresight, and strategic thinking
• Professional accounting background with experience beyond administrative support functions
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration with international team members
• Self-motivated and reliable for an independent remote work environment
• Minimum availability of 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling options
