Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM with 1 hour unpaid break
Client Timezone: Spring, TX
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations for multiple property locations
- Download and input bills into the property management software system
- Handle utility bills that require separate processing and entry
- Review financial statements and reports for accuracy
- Prepare and send financial documents up the chain for management review
- Maintain accurate books for 100+ separate property locations
- Support the financial operations of manufactured housing communities
Requirements
- 2-4 years of bookkeeping experience (above junior level)
- Experience with property management or real estate accounting preferred
- Familiarity with Rent Manager software is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with financial software and systems
- Experience with bank reconciliations and accounts management
