Schedule: 

  • Part-time (20 hours per week, Monday-Friday); 10 AM - 2 PM | Sydney (AEST)

Job Overview: You’ll own the social media strategy and execution for a thriving record label, directly impacting how artists connect with their audiences and grow their fan bases. This role offers the perfect blend of creative freedom and strategic thinking, where your content expertise will shape marketing campaigns, drive engagement, and help artists break through in competitive digital spaces. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team that values innovation and gives you the autonomy to experiment with trending formats and platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute creative marketing plans tailored to individual artists and their unique brand positioning
  • Research and analyze social media trends, algorithm changes, and successful content strategies across the music industry
  • Create comprehensive content calendars and posting schedules for multiple artists and brand accounts
  • Manage daily posting and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube platforms
  • Produce engaging clip content, stories, and short-form videos that drive audience growth and engagement
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize content strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Handle community management, responding to comments, and building authentic connections with fans
  • Collaborate on music video promotion and coordinate content around new releases and campaigns

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media content creation and digital marketing, preferably in entertainment or music
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube algorithms and best practices
  • Ability to identify trending content opportunities and adapt strategies quickly to platform changes
  • Creative mindset with experience in visual content creation and basic design skills
  • Bonus if you have experience with music industry marketing or working with artists and talent
  • It helps if you’re familiar with content creation tools and have a pulse on youth culture and music trends
  • You bring reliable communication skills and aren’t afraid to ask questions or propose new ideas
