Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and book patient appointments
- Collect and input patient information including name, birthday, email, address, and phone number
- Schedule appointment dates and times in the practice’s scheduling system
- Transfer calls to the physical location when patients have questions outside of appointment booking
- Maintain accurate patient records and appointment schedules
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to all patients
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience working in the health care industry
- Strong communication skills and professional phone manner
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn scheduling software
- Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
- Availability to work during peak hours including potential weekend coverage
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Scope:
- Work during peak business hours as determined by practice needs
- Weekend availability may be required
- Remote work arrangement using practice’s scheduling software
- Focus strictly on appointment booking and basic patient information collection
- No medical advice or complex patient inquiries - transfer these to physical location
- Month-to-month arrangement with 90-day replacement guarantee period
- Schedule TBD during the interview anywhere between 9 AM to 6 PM (Monday to Sunday, required to work 1 weekend)
