Role Overview:
We’re looking for an Email Marketing Assistant with strong hands-on experience in Klaviyo to support the build, optimisation, and delivery of high-quality email campaigns across multiple eCommerce brands. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in building emails from a brief, understands email marketing best practices, and can work efficiently within a structured workflow using ClickUp. You’ll collaborate closely with the wider eCommerce and marketing team, reporting directly to an Account Manager, and will play a key role in ensuring emails are built accurately, on time, and optimised for performance. This is not an entry-level role — we’re looking for intermediate to advanced email marketing skills with a strong eye for detail and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Build & Execution
- Build and schedule marketing emails using Klaviyo (experience required) and/or Shopify Email. This will entail multiple brands and multiple campaigns per day
- Translate ClickUp briefs into clean, on-brand, conversion-focused emails
- Implement subject lines, preview text, dynamic content, personalisation, and CTAs accurately
- Ensure emails are mobile-optimised and follow brand guidelines
Workflow & Collaboration
- Work from structured ClickUp briefs, managing tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Liaise with the eCommerce team to request assets, links, or clarifications when needed
- Collaborate with designers, account managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Report directly to an Account Manager, flagging issues, risks, or optimisation opportunities
Optimisation & Best Practice
- Apply email marketing best practices across layout, hierarchy, deliverability, and UX
- Support optimisation through A/B testing (subject lines, content blocks, CTAs, send times)
- Maintain a strong understanding of segmentation, engagement, and performance drivers
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, unsubscribe handling, and email regulations
Quality Control & Reporting
- Proof and QA emails thoroughly before send
- Monitor basic performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions) and flag insights
- Support ongoing improvements to templates, processes, and efficiency
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential
- Klaviyo experience (must-have) — intermediate or advanced level
- Proven experience building email campaigns for eCommerce brands
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and optimisation
- Experience working from briefs and within task management tools (ClickUp preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
Desirable
- Experience with Shopify Email
- Understanding of flows/automations (welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, etc.)
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email editing
- Experience working across multiple brands or accounts
