Job Description
Take the helm of an established accounting function where you’ll lead the accounting department as the sole accountant while providing strategic financial guidance across multiple client accounts. This role offers exceptional autonomy and growth potential, allowing you to shape financial processes and drive operational excellence. You’ll work directly with business leaders, providing high-level insights while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on involvement with project accounting, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders

• Drive strategic financial planning and analysis across multiple client accounts

• Optimize and streamline accounting processes and procedures

• Provide executive-level financial insights and recommendations

• Manage complex financial operations with full autonomy

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Implement best practices for financial management and control

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in commercial construction

• California commercial construction experience is highly preferred.

• MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS Computer

• Must have US experience

• Proven experience in commercial construction accounting, ideally with experience working with California-based clients, and understanding of CSI codes

• Demonstrated team leadership capabilities

• Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Self-motivated with ability to work independently

• Experience with modern accounting software platforms

• Remote work capability with reliable internet connection

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work closely with project managers and team members
