Job Description: You’ll join a close-knit team that values expertise, relationship-building, and professional growth. This role combines technical accounting excellence with meaningful client interaction, where you’ll help business owners understand their financials and make informed decisions. Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting for multiple clients across diverse industries
• Conduct monthly reconciliations and prepare comprehensive financial reports
• Calculate and record depreciation entries with precision
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions in QuickBooks Online
• Prepare journal entries for payroll reconciliation, including accrued pension plans and payroll taxes
• Review client books thoroughly and explain financial results to business owners in clear terms
• Provide strategic guidance and options to help clients improve their financial position
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with US taxation requirements
• Support clients during tax seasons with proper documentation and preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
• Accounting degree required
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Strong knowledge of US taxation principles and payroll tax requirements
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Ability to work independently without extensive training
• Bonus if you have experience in client-facing roles or consultative accounting
• It helps if you’re comfortable explaining complex financial concepts to business owners
