You’ll serve as the digital voice and administrative backbone of an exciting entertainment brand. This role combines creative social media promotion with essential administrative support, giving you ownership over show marketing and behind-the-scenes processes that directly impact performance success. You’ll work closely with a passionate creative professional who values efficiency, creativity, and authentic audience connection.

 

Responsibilities

  • Promote live shows by posting in targeted local Facebook groups across Canadian markets
  • Create and schedule engaging Facebook content, including show announcements, graphics, and videos
  • Execute cross-posting strategies and coordinate venue tagging to maximize visibility
  • Process monthly invoicing and maintain organized financial records
  • Conduct seasonal outreach to theaters using provided email templates to secure performance dates
  • Coordinate content approval and posting schedules with the business owner
  • Track promotional activity, engagement metrics, and campaign effectiveness
  • Maintain organized systems for social media assets and administrative documentation

 

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook posting, group engagement, and content scheduling
  • Basic administrative experience, including invoicing and professional email communication
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow processes

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Canadian local business promotion
  • Experience in entertainment, theater, or creative industries
  • Understanding of live performance or event marketing
