Senior Manual QA Tester – Web and REST API Testing

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm UK (4:00pm - 12:00am Manila Time) with a 30-minute paid break

Responsibilities:

Perform manual quality assurance tests on our web platform
Generate bug reports for the engineering teams
Support the engineering team for reproduction of bugs you’ve found
Update the team on the progress of testing and QA activities and challenges
Ensure best quality of tax automation & optimization services
Identify quality issues and see them through to resolution
Consider everything from user experience, happy paths, negative testing, edge cases, browser compatibility, etc
Be available within core UK/Europe business hours to liaise with the R&D team

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in manual web testing
University degree or comparable professional qualification in Computer Science / IT/ Software Testing
Working understanding of REST APIs and how to test them
Experience of designing, implementing, and executing test plans and test cases
Clear reporting skills
A rounded knowledge of software testing best practices and applying them in CI/CD
Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles
Full professional English proficiency (spoken and written)
