Quality Assurance Compliance Assistant

Schedule:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 9 AM - 4 PM UK

Role Overview:

The Quality Assurance Assistant supports the company in delivering safe, high-quality domiciliary care by monitoring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. This remote role focuses on reviewing documentation, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous quality improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review care records, staff files, training certificates, and compliance documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Support internal audits and routine quality assurance checks in line with CQC requirements
  • Identify gaps, errors, or areas of non-compliance and report findings to management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality assurance and compliance records
  • Assist with policy reviews and quality improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with internal teams to follow up on corrective actions and improvements
  • Support preparation for CQC inspections where required

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and domiciliary care services (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems
  • Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or care administration is an advantage
