Two established medical brands operating in the aesthetic medicine and pediatric dentistry space, each with a strong in-person presence and a growing focus on high-quality short-form video content. The brands prioritize trust, clarity, and emotional connection through video, using intentional storytelling and polished editing to educate, reassure, and engage their audiences across Instagram Reels and TikTok.

 

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Short Form Video Editor to support Instagram Reels and TikTok content for two distinct medical brands in the aesthetic medicine and pediatric dentistry space. This is a video editing and storytelling–focused role only and does not include social media management, posting, captions, or analytics.

You will work with long-form appointment footage filmed on high-quality cameras, cutting it into multiple engaging short-form clips. The role requires comfort working with larger file sizes, longer timelines, and creating multiple high-quality edits from the same source material while maintaining clear pacing, continuity, and brand consistency.

The editor must be able to adapt tone and pacing between a refined, elevated aesthetic brand and a warm, family-focused pediatric brand.

 

Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form vertical video for Instagram Reels and TikTok

• Create strong hooks and engaging pacing

• Cut long appointment footage into multiple compelling short-form clips

• Pull multiple usable moments from a single appointment session

• Cut between angles or views when available

• Add clean, intentional on-screen text that supports the story

• Sync edits to trending or provided audio

• Maintain brand consistency across two distinct brands

• Deliver multiple edits from the same footage when required

• Apply feedback accurately and efficiently

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing short-form social video

• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and TikTok pacing

• Experience working with long-form footage and larger file sizes

• Experience editing in DaVinci Resolve (preferred) or equivalent professional tools

• Ability to match existing brand styles and creative references

• Strong attention to detail, timing, flow, and visual clarity
