Healthcare Spanish Bilingual Customer Service Representative

You’ll serve as a vital link between patients and essential healthcare coverage, making a real difference in people’s lives every day. This is not a sales role—you’ll be assisting patients who may have lost coverage or are unaware of available benefits, guiding them through enrollment in programs that can significantly improve their well-being. Your bilingual skills will help you support diverse communities while working remotely in a supportive, tech-enabled environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls (80%) and handle inbound calls (20%) related to healthcare coverage opportunities
- Guide patients through enrollment for Medicaid, Medicare, and ACA Marketplace programs
- Assist patients in completing applications and ensure successful enrollment
- Accurately enter and maintain patient data in CRM systems
- Communicate clearly and compassionately in both English and Spanish
- Use Five9 dialing software and Salesforce CRM for daily operations
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Outreach to patients from healthcare center rosters to connect them with federal benefits
Requirements
- Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish (conversational proficiency required)
- Experience with outbound calling and customer service
- Tech-savvy with the ability to manage multiple software platforms simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with a genuine desire to help patients
- Reliable high-speed internet for remote work
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare or insurance industries
- Preferred: HIPAA certification or willingness to obtain one
