We are seeking a detail-oriented Photo Editor & Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced social media marketing firm specializing in real-time trade show content. This role blends creative photo editing with essential administrative support to ensure polished client deliverables and smooth operations during live events. The ideal candidate thrives under deadlines, adapts to variable workloads, and maintains strong organizational standards in high-energy environments.
Job Highlights
Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours
Schedule: Flexible hours with set deadlines (based on trade show calendar)

Contract: Independent Contractor
Side Note:
Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an Independent Contractor, the selected candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. Professional fees are hourly and will depend on performance during the application process.
Responsibilities

Edit photographs from on-site trade show photographers with rapid turnaround (within 2–3 hours)

Process and categorize a high volume of expense receipts from trade show events

Photograph physical receipts and organize them systematically in Dropbox

Create detailed expense spreadsheets for accurate client invoicing

Perform general administrative tasks including inbox management and data entry

Communicate with team members in real time via Slack during events

Adapt to variable workloads based on the trade show schedule

Provide additional administrative support as business needs arise
Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in photo editing and administrative work

Proficiency with photo editing software and tools

Strong organizational and file management skills, particularly for expense tracking

Experience using Dropbox and spreadsheet applications

Excellent English communication skills

Ability to work flexible hours aligned with trade show schedules

Comfortable working in real-time, deadline-driven environments

Experience working with international teams is a plus
