Job Description: 

You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing HR systems for an expanding international consultancy. This is your opportunity to build something from the ground up—creating the HR foundation that will support the company’s Philippines operations for years to come. You’ll work directly with UK leadership to ensure seamless compliance while designing employee experiences that attract and retain top talent in the Philippines market.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive benefits packages tailored to the Philippines market standards and employee expectations
• Draft employment contracts and employee handbooks compliant with local labor laws and regulations
• Ensure full compliance with the Philippines' Department of Labor and Employment requirements
• Handle monthly government filings and regulatory documentation
• Guide the transition process from contractor to full-time employee status
• Provide ongoing consultation on local HR best practices and regulatory changes
• Collaborate with the UK-based team to align global and local HR policies
• Establish processes for ongoing compliance management that can be maintained internally

 

Requirements:

• Based in the Philippines with deep expertise in local labor laws and regulations
• Proven experience in HR management, benefits design, and employment law compliance
• Strong knowledge of DOLE filing requirements and government compliance procedures
• Experience drafting employment contracts and employee handbooks for the Philippines market
• Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with UK-based leadership
• Bonus if you have experience with international companies or contractor-to-employee transitions
• It helps if you’re familiar with consulting or technology industry practices
