Job Highlights

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours/week).

Role Overview
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering a seamless and positive experience to customers by handling inquiries, managing orders, and providing accurate product guidance. This role supports customers through email, messaging platforms, and social media while maintaining a professional, friendly, and brand-aligned tone. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, chat, messaging platforms, and social media
  • Manage and track customer orders, including order status, modifications, and issue resolution
  • Provide accurate product information and recommendations based on customer needs
  • Handle complaints, returns, and concerns with empathy and efficiency
  • Maintain detailed and organized customer records in the helpdesk system
  • Ensure consistent communication aligned with brand voice and values
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve escalations and fulfillment issues
  • Follow customer service workflows, policies, and response-time standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in eCommerce or beauty/lifestyle brands
  • Strong written communication skills in English
  • Experience using helpdesk tools (Zoho Desk preferred)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and customer messaging tools
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
  • Ability to multitask and manage high-volume inquiries
  • Comfortable working full-time during Pacific Time hours
