Marketing and Sales Operations Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organized remote team member to support administrative operations while actively assisting sales and marketing activities for a service-based business. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable handling customer-facing, sales-support, and marketing-related tasks. There is strong potential for this position to grow into a full-time role in the Spring/Summer based on performance and business needs.


Responsibilities

Administrative & Operations Support

  • Handle inbound and outbound communications with customers via phone and email

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently

  • Update and maintain customer information in internal systems or CRM

  • Support operational tasks related to service scheduling and coordination

  • Assist with general administrative duties as needed

  • Communicate clearly with internal team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Sales Support

  • Assist with lead follow-ups and appointment confirmations

  • Support CRM pipeline updates related to sales activity

  • Help track inquiries, prospects, and follow-ups to support conversion

  • Provide administrative support to sales-related workflows

Marketing Support

  • Assist with basic marketing tasks such as email outreach, follow-up sequences, or campaign coordination

  • Support social media or content-related tasks as assigned (posting, scheduling, simple content updates)

  • Help maintain organized records of marketing activities and responses


Requirements

  • Experience supporting sales activities (lead follow-ups, CRM pipeline updates, appointment confirmations)
  • Experience supporting marketing activities (email outreach, campaigns, social media or content coordination)
  • Ability to work on revenue-related workflows, not just administrative tasks

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Administrative support or operations experience
  • Customer service or phone/email communication experience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or scheduling tools
  • Strong organization, reliability, and remote-work readiness
