Role Name:  Graphic Designer

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with one hour of unpaid break

The owners are experienced with remote teams and are strategically positioning for significant growth in the coming year.

Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop to support our design and production workflow. This role focuses on editing customer-supplied artwork, creating product mockups, and collaborating on design concepts. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable turning ideas into polished visual designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and enhance customer-supplied artwork based on provided concepts and specifications

  • Create realistic product mockups for client review and approval

  • Develop design variations and visual options from initial ideas or rough concepts

  • Work primarily with layered PDF files and Photoshop-based workflows

  • Prepare files for production, including basic cut-line setup when needed

  • Collaborate closely to refine designs and ensure they meet quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (layers, masks, adjustments, file prep)

  • Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (primarily for simple edits and cut lines)

  • Experience working with layered PDFs

  • Solid understanding of graphic design principles (layout, typography, color)

  • Ability to follow creative direction while also contributing design ideas and options

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating mockups for physical products (e.g., signage, vinyl, printed materials)

  • Familiarity with vinyl design or cut-line preparation (e.g., Mimaki plugin experience is a plus, but not required)

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple design requests
