Job Description
You’ll join an established insurance agency where your sales expertise will directly impact customers seeking better auto insurance coverage. This role puts you at the center of the customer journey, working with prospects who are actively comparing rates and ready to make decisions. You’ll have the support of proven systems and processes while building meaningful relationships with customers who genuinely need your help finding better insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Progressive auto insurance quoting process for inbound prospects seeking rate comparisons
  • Ask strategic qualifying questions during quotes, including current premium amounts and coverage details
  • Gather essential customer information including VIN numbers, driver’s license details, and insurance history
  • Explain insurance quotes and coverage options clearly to help customers make informed decisions
  • Schedule appointments to finalize policies with qualified, interested prospects
  • Identify genuine buying signals versus polite rejections to focus efforts effectively
  • Handle warm inbound calls from customers actively seeking insurance quotes
  • Update CRM systems with detailed customer interactions and quote information
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to customer interest levels and objections

  • Previous sales experience, preferably with US-based companies
  • Background or experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of basic insurance concepts (VIN numbers, coverage types, policy structures)
  • Proven ability to recognize sales signals and qualify prospects effectively
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex insurance products simply
  • Experience with CRM systems and accurate data entry
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Bonus if you have experience with Progressive insurance products specifically
  • It helps if you’ve worked in appointment setting or lead conversion roles
