Client Overview: An established pool service company operating five separate business entities across Southern California. They value financial precision and are seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage their complex multi-entity operations with accuracy and expertise.
Job Overview: You’ll serve as the financial backbone for a successful multi-business operation, where your expertise ensures accurate financial management across five distinct entities. Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting for five business entities
- Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow management
- Perform monthly financial reconciliations and prepare management reports
- Coordinate payroll processing and related tax compliance
- Prepare accurate financial statements and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Collaborate with external accountants and tax professionals as needed
- Maintain organized financial records across all business entities
Requirements:
- CPA certification or equivalent advanced accounting credentials strongly preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles
- Expert-level proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations
- Experience managing multi-entity or multi-location accounting
- Proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bonus if you have experience in service-based industries
