Client Overview: An established pool service company operating five separate business entities across Southern California. They value financial precision and are seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage their complex multi-entity operations with accuracy and expertise.

Job Overview: You’ll serve as the financial backbone for a successful multi-business operation, where your expertise ensures accurate financial management across five distinct entities. Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting for five business entities
• Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow management
• Perform monthly financial reconciliations and prepare management reports
• Coordinate payroll processing and related tax compliance
• Prepare accurate financial statements and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Collaborate with external accountants and tax professionals as needed
• Maintain organized financial records across all business entities

Requirements:

• CPA certification or equivalent advanced accounting credentials strongly preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles
• Expert-level proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations
• Experience managing multi-entity or multi-location accounting
• Proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Bonus if you have experience in service-based industries
