  • 24/7 coverage model with rotating shifts - as per shift schedule

  • Agent 1 - Monday to Friday; 7 AM to 4 PM Central time
    Agent 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday; 10 PM to 7 AM Central time
    Agent 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 2 PM to 11 PM Central time; Saturday, Sunday, 7 AM to 4 PM Central time
    Agent 4 - Monday to Friday; 10 PM to 7 AM Central time

Job Description

As a Social Media Content Moderator, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining safe, positive community spaces across multiple social media platforms for a rapidly growing financial education brand. You'll be the guardian of online conversations, ensuring educational content reaches audiences without disruption from inappropriate content, spam, or negativity. This position offers the opportunity to directly support financial literacy education while working in a fast-paced, technology-forward environment with a supportive 24/7 team structure and clear advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and moderate comments on YouTube videos during critical upload windows (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10 AM Central)

  • Proactively review and moderate content across Reddit and Discord communities following established guidelines

  • Quickly identify and remove inappropriate comments, spam, bot activity, and negative content that violates community standards

  • Provide immediate moderation coverage during new content launches to ensure clean, welcoming comment sections

  • Follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent moderation quality across all platforms

  • Collaborate effectively with team members via Slack and other communication tools

  • Maintain reliable coverage as part of a 24/7 moderation team with no service gaps

  • Cross-train to provide app support assistance during lower-volume moderation periods

 

Requirements

  • Excellent English writing and communication skills

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate YouTube Studio comment sections and platform-specific moderation tools

  • Strong attention to detail for identifying inappropriate or spam content

  • Experience following detailed procedures and guidelines consistently

  • Reliable internet connection and commitment to scheduled shift work

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team communication

  • No financial background required - comprehensive training provided on all procedures
