Video Editor & Social Media Optimizer

Position Type: 40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM Start Time (Local Time Zone Preferred/Negotiable) 

We are seeking a Highly Qualified and Experienced Remote Video Editor to take ownership of all our video content, from initial editing through final optimization and posting across various social media platforms. This is a dedicated role focused exclusively on video production and distribution. The successful candidate will have a proven, extensive track record in both short-form and long-form video editing and possess a deep understanding of social media platform requirements and optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert Video Editing: Utilize advanced editing techniques to produce compelling, high-quality, and engaging video content in both short-form (e.g., Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long-form (e.g., YouTube videos, case studies).

  • Content Production: Manage the end-to-end post-production process, including cutting, color correction, sound mixing, graphic/text overlays, and ensuring brand consistency.

  • Social Media Optimization: Tailor video content (format, aspect ratio, length, style) for maximum performance across different social media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).

  • Posting and Scheduling: Efficiently upload, schedule, and publish video content on all designated social media channels.

  • SEO/Metadata Management: Write engaging titles, descriptions, and utilize relevant tags/hashtags to maximize discoverability and organic reach for all uploaded videos.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 Years of Professional Experience specifically in video editing and content posting/optimization.

  • Demonstrated High Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

  • Expert Knowledge of the technical specifications, best practices, and optimization requirements for all major social media platforms.

  • A Strong Portfolio demonstrating a minimum of several completed and published short-form and long-form videos that showcase a high level of technical and creative skill. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of content production independently in a remote environment.

  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a professional remote workspace.
