Job Description: 

You’ll be the essential bridge between customers and insurance companies, ensuring seamless post-sale experiences that directly impact customer satisfaction and business growth. In this role, you’ll handle the administrative tasks that consume valuable time from sales agents, allowing them to focus on what they do best while you ensure customers receive the support they need. You’ll work with clear scripts and structured processes, making this an excellent opportunity to develop specialized skills in the insurance industry while contributing to a growing team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate three-way calls between customers and insurance company support representatives
  • Assist customers with updating billing information and policy changes
  • Contact insurance companies on behalf of customers to resolve administrative issues
  • Manage hold times with insurance companies (typically 20-30 minutes) while maintaining professional patience
  • Follow detailed scripts and instructions for each customer interaction type
  • Connect customers to appropriate insurance support teams once representatives are available
  • Document all interactions and maintain detailed notes about completed tasks
  • Support 2-3 sales agents initially with potential to expand coverage as the team grows
  • Present yourself professionally as a “benefits coordinator” to maintain customer trust

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of customer support or sales support experience
  • Strong English proficiency for professional phone communication
  • Experience working with international clients preferred
  • Comfortable managing long hold times and maintaining patience during extended calls
  • Professional phone manner with excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable internet connection for remote work
  • Bonus if you have experience with phone dialer systems like RingCentral
  • It helps if you have familiarity with insurance or financial services processes
