Sales Operations Administrator (Building & Construction Services)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM New Zealand Time

 

We are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our enthusiastic team in Mount Wellington. This full-time permanent role is for an immediate start. We are looking for a self-starter, with a great passion for sales and customer service. 

As a cleaning company servicing the building and construction industry, experience with this industry will be an advantage. In this role you will be expected to:

  • Prepare and submit sales quotations.
  • Read and interpret construction floor plans to identify and count all rooms or areas requiring cleaning based on the project’s scope of work.
  • Work with building plans and architectural drawings.
  • Assist with sales administrative and sales support activities.
  • Work with lead generation database, maintain our CRM and data entry.
  • Produce regular sales reports.
  • Work closely with the accounts team to ensure that invoices and payments are correctly formatted/created.
  • Developing marketing materials for commercial distribution.
  • Assisting with other ad hoc office duties as required.
  • Knowledgably answering customer queries about company products and services.

Requirements: 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a sales-focused administration role or customer service.
  • The ability to read and interpret building plans and architectural drawings.
  • Experience with construction takeoff software is an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy, you will be using Microsoft Office full suite, Job Management Software, CRM Software the lead generation databases.
  • You will be a team player, keen to bring your positive and proactive attitude to a great team environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills; across all channels of communication.
  • The ability to work diligently under pressure and to meet expected deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
